In the beginning of May I had a late winter holiday with my family in Eastern Finland and had also entered our pepper&salt mini schnauzer Alfred, Imbrez Light My Fire, to a couple of shows there. We stayed a little over a week in a camper with my husband, our baby and our two dogs, Alfred and black/silver male Rudolf. As we had lived in Varkaus and Kotka before moving to Espoo three years ago, it was nice to spend time in familiar places and visit some relatives. On the way back home, we had a group show in Mikkeli.
Alfred was groomed by Tiina Ultamo before our journey, thank you so much for her!
He was the only Imbrez-dog entered to this show, and as he was 14 months old, he was entered to junior class. We had a Finnish judge there, Mrs Marjo Nygård. She took her time evaluating the dogs, especially their bite and movements. She found all his best properties, and after winning the junior class he also won the best male competition! The certificate he got in this show was his first. He concentrated to showing his best, and was finally placed Best of Breed.
We are so lucky that Mikko has trusted Alfred to our hands! Alfred doesn’t just look gorgeous, he is also our very loving family member and sunshine, making us laugh every day. Even though he is still stealing our shoes…
