After Liepaja national shows we spent several days in Klaipeda and after that we headed to Drusikinkai in Southern Lithuania. This might be my 4th or 5th time in Druskininkai and the town still is a beauty. Many things has changed during the years, many houses renovated and many new built.
Somehow this show means always an end of summer holiday, but at the same time it gives an experience of great Lithuanian show. And again the show commitee has chosen an excellent judgelist. And that is the main reason to come here year after year….
Day 1, Friday
Wards Creek’s Cat Got Your Tongue
Cato did something great already on the first day. Best Of Breed Junior and Best Of Opposite was a great start for this circuit. Emppu started to show him winning the Junior class and Mikko continued in BOB ring winning the Best Of Opposite and continued to group ring.
Myla’s Awesome ”Steak My REPutation!!!”
Class 3rd was tfe result for Retro this time. He is absolutely stunning while standing, but the movements were far away from the movements in Liepaja. Still 2 more days to go.
Lancome de Akra-Leuka
SiSi met one of her brothers here, which was great! On the first day she placed 2nd in her class, which was not bad at all…

Emppu showed Maggie to class 3rd with Excellent. Yellow is the new black, isn’t it?They looked nice together and look how Maggie moved.

Riia’s First ever 3 days circuit started with Excellent and class 3rd.
Day 2, Saturday
Wards Creek’s Cat Got Your Tongue
Almost a copy of the day one. Cato won juniors and at the same time Lithuanian Junior Champion Title. And still no placement in the Final Ring…

Retro Continued also with same results as in day one. Excellent with class 3rd.

SiSi had fun in the ring at that could be seen also in the results. Intermediate class first with class CAC was job well done.

Yestarday’s open class 2nd changed to third this time.
Imbrez Running After Giants
As in day one, Riia was Open class third again with Excellent.
Day 3, Sunday
Wards Creek’s Cat Got Your Tongue
Best Junior male, Best of Opposite Junior. That meant that we were not going to final rings and we had food few hours earlier… Cato did it very well and was the best placed dog in our 5 dog show team here in Druskininkai.

If I did not catch it totally wrong, Retro was way too short today…. Well, I do not understand Russian language, but talking with hands goes quite well. So Excellent and Intermediate Class 3rd did not leave much to tell… But he mved quite well today.

SiSi, not the best day for her too. Yesterday’s intermediate Class 1st changed to class 3rd. I know we alla see things differently and this time it went… well a bit different than yesterday. Indeed she moved well and looked good.
Wards Creek’s Something Magical
That was my second time in the ring with Maggie, and yes, it was fun all the way. First I was a bit worried whether Maggie moves with me, because Mam was on the ringside. But my worries were blown away when we started. Maggie moved nicely and we got also a good balance for standig without stacking. Quite satisfied for Open Class 2nd.
Imbrez Running After Giants
Probably Riia’s best performance in this Druskininkai circuit. We had fun and some too much energy in the ring but we had our moments, while having all 4 feet on the ground. It is hard to understand that our 5 dogs has competed in 5 shows during 2 last weekend and Riia was again all over the place. But also best results for Riia Open class second was not bad at all.
One of the best things in Saturday and Sunday was that our Imbrez Idolizer’s daughter Top Target Northern Queen was best of Breed on both days. Her movements and the love to her owner Natalia Shatalova were great to see. We just want to say thanks to her breeder Natalia Svidorova for choosing our male to this combination and choosing so great home for our Lucky’s daughter,
One more night in Druskininkai, One night above Riga and third in own bed. Our summer holiday ends and back to work on wednesday morning.
