Today was one of those days when we had some doubts going to the show. First the weather: forecast showed rain for the whole west coast. But no rain at all at Rauma. And the second thing: judge we have not seen judging before. 44 Miniature Schnauzers (15 blacks, 7 black & silvers, 18 pepper & salts and 4 whites) of which 5 Imbrez were judged by Mr Panos Demetriou, Cyprus. But after the ring we had to say we were quite pleased for the day…
It really has happened a lot during the last week. From last Sunday to this Saturday we have got 3 new champions of which 2 double champions. 2 from Fenway-litter (EE & FI CH Imbrez Fenway Forever last weekend and now LT & FI CH Fenway Park Avenue) and one from Lucky puppies. Tom and Santy: in our opinion this is one of the best ways to salute The Great Fenway, Sterling’ Green Monstah, who left us last summer. Thank you friends for that great example of our breed! Fenway’s legacy will live also with us!
Imbrez Drop The Bomb
Suvi and Ferro have done it better and better all the time. This one might have been the best performance so far, but our judge noticed it worth Very Good only. Written critique told that the reason was front movements. Otherwise Ferro got an excellent critique. Well, here are the movements….
Imbrez Womanizer
We already thought that Samu had 2 certificates, but he did not. That was understood on Friday, but just one day with 1 certificate and today we got the second. Samu was performing nicely, the judge really had an eye for him and the result today was Best Male 1 with Certificate and Best Of Opposite.
Imbrez Forever Fenway
Situation has changed so many times during the past weeks… In Tampere Samu was before Robi, in Harjavalta and Salo Robi first and now at Rauma it was again Samu. Actually very different kind of males and that was the reason we showed them against each other. Robi was today again owner-handled and conditioned by Anu and once more, great work from you both. That really is awesome to see. Results today Best Male 3rd.
Imbrez Fenway Park Avenue
After showing Lara (Imbrez Lucky Lady) at Salo, I could finally concentrate fully on Viivi. She has always been great dog to show and especially the movements are really something. So we kind of knew what we were doing and enjoyed it all the way. Winning the class was ok, but winning the Best Bitch against some of the best bitches in Finland was a bit unexpected. But we were extremely happy, especially about her movements… Best Bitch 1 with 3rd certificate sealing her champion title and Best Of Breed. Unbelievable! Two titles with this win, both LT and FI CH. Thank you Minna, it has been quite a ride and it will continue!
